Riley McGuire
Dr. Riley McGuire has been editor of Currents in Teaching and Learning since the summer of 2024. He is Assistant Professor of English at WSU where he specializes in queer theory, disability studies, and nineteenth-century literature. His teaching aims to cultivate accessibility for all students: he received the Alden Excellence in Teaching Award in 2023 as well as WSU’s Diversity & Inclusion Award. His first book, Dysfluent in Fiction: Vocal Disability & Nineteenth-Century Literature, is forthcoming from Ohio State University Press. His most recent research can be found in Victorian Literature and Culture, Victorian Review, Disability Studies Quarterly, and Ordinary Oralities.
Student Interns
Ashley Harvey
Ashley Harvey is a senior English and Spanish major at Worcester State University with a minor in Theatre. She is interested in writing, editing, copyediting, journalism, and writing consultancy. Ashley also has an interest in Disability Studies.
