Active Minds works to increase students’ awareness of mental health issues and provides information and resources regarding mental health and mental illness. Members aim to remove the stigma that surrounds mental health issues through campus-wide events.
The purpose of this organization is to bring a sense of community to empower the Black or African American students of Worcester State. To spread awareness of problems individuals may deal with, educate others and celebrate black excellence.
CAB is a major organization that creates programs for commuter students and addresses commuter-related issues. Programs include monthly commuter breakfasts, Commuter Appreciation Week, the Duck Hunt scavenger hunt, a paintball trip, and more.
Dance Company allows students to learn and perform different types of dance including tap, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary. Members of all skill levels and abilities have the opportunity to perform at recitals held at the end of each semester.
ISA is an organization that brings diversity and enhances pluralism on campus through campus and community activities that reflect the unique cultural backgrounds of the Worcester State community. Events include Latin Heritage Month, Black History Month, the Multicultural Party, and lectures by special guests.
LGBTQ+ Alliance provides students at Worcester State and within the community with a forum for the issues relating to sexual orientation and sexuality and provide a place to socialize and plan campus programs. Members of LGBTQ+ Alliance aim to encourage understanding and acceptance of members of the LGBTQ+ community.
Games Club is open to students who are interested in participating in a wide variety of games, including video games, board games, card games, or live action role playing games. Events include Magic drafts and video game tournaments.
As the governing body of Worcester State students, the Student Government Association and Student Senate work together to respond to issues and concerns relative to student life, advocate for student needs and rights, and allocate funds to student organizations each year. Elections for open positions are held at the beginning of each semester.
SEC is the major student programming board on campus, and are responsible for over 60 events each year. Its purpose is to develop a large variety of programs and events, which include Spring Week, comedy shows, novelties, lectures, trips, and live music.
WSUR, the campus radio station, exposes students to different musical artists, styles, backgrounds, and alternative radio programming. Students are responsible for managing the radio and hosting radio shows throughout the week.

The purpose of Almost Off Book is to provide opportunities to students that have interest in any aspect of theatre which includes acting, directing, design, and management as well as connecting with others who work and study in theatre.
The purpose of Amnesty International, Worcester State University Chapter is to undertake research and action focused on preventing and ending grave abuses of the rights to physical and mental integrity, freedom of conscience and expression, and freedom from discrimination, within the context of its work to promote all human rights. They also endeavor to ensure that everyone at Worcester State knows what human rights are and has the opportunity to take action to protect them.
The purpose of the organization shall be to provide Armenian and non-Armenian students alike the opportunity to come together as a community and celebrate Armenian culture.
The mission of Best Buddies is to establish a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment, and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The purpose of the club is to establish an atmosphere of Christian community and fellowship, give opportunity for sharing Christian beliefs, and to provide a welcoming atmosphere for others who are interested in learning about Christianity.
Chess Club brings people who have an interest in chess playing together in a friendly environment. Members will both learn how to play as well as participate in competition with one another.

Drag Club would give people who do drag, like drag, or have never heard of drag, a safe place to talk about what’s going on in the drag world. Also a main goal of drag club would be setting up events around campus like drag shows, drag bingo, and Rupaul’s Drag Race viewing parties.
eSports Club brings the Worcester State gaming community together and allows students to compete in various games. Members can form a gaming team to participate in tournaments under Worcester State. They also have trivia nights.
Falafel Friends is a student organization open to all students. It exists to provide support for Worcester State University’s Jewish community and allies. Falafel Friends strives to share Jewish and Israeli culture, traditions, activities, and more through events and general meetings. Falafel Friends will also spread awareness about antisemitism and antizionism in the context of its relevance in today’s society and its relevance on the Worcester State campus.
The purpose of the Fiber Arts Circle is to promote fiber arts, handwork, and similar activities and build a welcoming, caring, and constructive social community on campus facilitated by the fiber arts.
The purpose of the First Generation Nation is to empower first generation students to develop a sense of belonging and community through social, academic, cultural, career, and financial programming that is easily accessible.
The purpose of this club shall be to provide an open creative outlet for students interested in any form of creative writing and/or art. The club will provide any criticism, aid, or feedback to members as well as create group projects featuring members’ works.

Math club provides an opportunity for students to come together and pursue a common interest in mathematics.

This will occur though conducting social, cultural, and religious activities in order to educate others.
NSSLHA benefits its members by continually improving its support, promotion, and advocacy of the highest quality preparation of professionals in audiology, speech-language pathology, and speech and hearing science. Members also work to promote and heighten awareness of communications and disorders to the community.
The purpose of the organization shall be to promote the club and its members through the public display of photography, to provide an outlet for the expression of creativity and the sharing of skills and experiences, and to provide photographic instruction and mentoring.
This club looks to inform the campus about the political science program and encourage the growth of the department. They seek to promote job and internship opportunities in politics, law, and government. They host discussions on political topics at their own meetings and at events where they encourage others from the campus community outside the club to join for friendly and respectful discussion and debate.
Pre-Health Club helps students network with different health professionals in the community and get support and knowledge on how to apply to health-related universities.
The purpose of the organization shall be to provide collaboration, mentorship, tutoring, and internship opportunities for students interested specifically in Public Health and in Health Education.
The purpose of the organization is to change lives and secure one’s destiny in Christ. Members aim to provide an intimate, diverse community for college students to learn and practice being a Christian. A priority of the organization is also focusing on the importance of prayer and worship while being a college student.
SNA promotes health education and disease prevention in the Worcester area and on Worcester State’s campus. Members organize community service activities and fundraise to support their efforts.
SOTA provides occupational therapy students with a supportive network, organizes social events and fundraising activities, and creates awareness about the field of Occupational Therapy across campus. SOTA also establishes a link with affiliated professional organizations.
Women of Color iN STEM is an organization to help women of color interested in pursing academics and careers in the STEM field succeed academically and connect socially.
WooServe welcomes all students looking to civically engage with the greater Worcester area through community service. This includes, but is not limited to, work for charities, community projects, and other miscellaneous service projects that promote involvement on or off campus.
Get outside and involved when you join a club for sports. You do not need to be in an official Worcester State sports team to become a member of any of the following clubs.
The Cheerleading Team provides students the opportunity to cheer and compete against other teams with the same goal. Members can also enhance their cheerleading skills within a supportive team atmosphere. Membership to the Cheerleading Team is determined by tryouts.
Dance Team gives students the chance to dance and perform on an advanced team and compete against other teams with the same goal. Becoming a member of the Dance Team will provide team members with the opportunity to enhance their dance technique and provide a quality team experience. Membership to the Dance Team is determined by tryouts.
The Equestrian Team is open to any student interested in participating and furthering their equestrian skills as well as demonstrating their riding abilities. Members will compete with other intercollegiate riding teams in equestrian events.
Lacrosse Club team members compete against other colleges and universities with club lacrosse programs. Members also aim to achieve club sport status and become a member of the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League. Lacrosse Club is open to any student interested in learning and playing lacrosse in a competitive setting.
The Senior Class Committee provides programs for the students of their class year. Members of the Senior Class Committee are chosen from an applicant pool at the end of their junior year. Membership on the committee will continue throughout their senior year.
