Prepare for your Worcester State experience by participating in our two-day First-Year Orientation program. Orientation is designed to introduce you to the Worcester State campus and educate you on the transition from high school to college.

New Student Fall Welcome is an immersive pre-college experience to help you prepare for your first semester. Directly following campus move-in, first-year and transfer residents and commuters will be invited to participate in programming to help ease the transition into college life.

Transfer Orientation is a program which helps students to be fully prepared for their arrival in the fall. Held in August, Transfer Orientation gives transfer students the opportunity to learn more about everything that Worcester State has to offer.

As your student begins the process of enrolling at Worcester State, the Orientation Office invites you to attend a Parent & Guardian Orientation session. Parent & Guardian Orientation will give your family the opportunity to learn more about academic programs and campus health and safety as well as get advice on your student’s transition to college.

Our Winter Orientation program helps new students enrolling at Worcester State mid-year – both transfer students and new incoming students who have not yet attended college – to be fully prepared for the beginning of the spring semester.
By attending this Orientation session, you will have the opportunity to learn more about everything that Worcester State has to offer. The program will guide you through the specific requirements of Worcester State’s academic programs and provide information on campus services and commuter- and resident-student life.
