Recognize your students’ achievements and offer additional support
Early Support allows faculty to provide students with direct feedback about their course performance in the form of kudos, flags, and messages. Celebrate the success of your students or connect them to resources or support they may need outside of the classroom.
Early Support is not punitive, it’s a great way for faculty, support services staff, and students to communicate in order to encourage change that may be necessary for academic success or identify additional resources that may support a student’s learning.
When a kudos, flag, or referral is raised, a notification is sent directly to the student and specific members of a student’s Success Network. Though all faculty have access to Early Support, kudos, flags, or referrals are only visible to the faculty who raised the flag, the student, and a student’s Success Network.
