Welcome to Spring 2023!
Each fall, the Office of Student Involvement & Leadership Development meets with numerous students who are interested in starting a new student organization. This fall, Student Senate approved seven new student groups, with five more awaiting approval following their submission – learn more about them below!
Falafel Friends
Falafel Friends is a student organization open to all students. It exists to provide support for Worcester State University’s Jewish community and allies. Falafel Friends strives to share Jewish and Israeli culture, traditions, activities, and more through events and general meetings. Falafel Friends will also spread awareness about antisemitism and antizionism in the context of its relevance in today’s society and its relevance on the Worcester State campus.

The purpose of this club shall be to provide an open creative outlet for students interested in any form of creative writing and/or art. The club will provide any criticism, aid, or feedback to members as well as create group projects featuring members’ works.
Public Health Club
The purpose of the organization shall be to provide collaboration, mentorship, tutoring, and internship opportunities for students interested specifically in Public Health and in Health Education.
