Everyone at Worcester State University is excited for your arrival at campus, so please refer to the following steps to ensure that you are on your way to becoming a Lancer in the spring.

• It is easy to pay online at worcester.edu/deposit.
  • The non-refundable deposit is $300 for on-campus resident students and $150 for commuter students.
• Checkout all the resources in MyWooState and access your email.
  • Your username and password can be found in your deposit confirmation letter.
• Apply for financial aid, if you have not already.
• The Academic Success Center will contact you via your Worcester State email account on the next steps to getting registered for the upcoming semester.

• Submit your final transcripts from high school (and college, if applicable).
• Submit your Residence Life license agreement if planning to live on campus.
  • Look out for a Room Assignment Questionnaire in your email.
  • Learn about items you can and cannot bring, and info about the First-Year Residential Experience Program.
• Submit health records to the Health Services Office.
  • Resident students must complete this step before you can move in.
  • Commuters must complete this step before the start of classes.
• Register with Student Accessibility Services (SAS).
  • Students with disabilities who are seeking accommodation must self-identify and register with SAS. Students can register with SAS at any time. We encourage students to begin the registration process as soon as possible to ensure accommodations are in place from the beginning of the semester. Testing, IEPs, and 504 Plans submitted as part of an admissions application are not provided to SAS; students should submit this documentation directly to sas@worcester.edu if they are requesting accommodation. For more information or to register, visit worcester.edu/student-accessibility-services.

• Register to attend the Winter Orientation session.
• Pay your bill (WooState login required) or make payment arrangements with Student Accounts.

• Prepare to buy your books and supplies, and plan for your computing needs.
• Finalize your parking arrangements and obtain your OneCard.
  • Commuter parking decals will be mailed to home addresses before the start of the semester.
  • Resident students must apply for a parking decal, which are distributed on a limited basis.
• Register to receive emergency notifications from WSU
  • In the event of a weather or other emergency, Worcester State uses the RAVE Guardian Alert System to notify the campus community. While your email address is automatically registered, you must opt-in to receive text-message notifications. Please register your cell phone number to have notifications sent to you via text message.
