Worcester State is proud to offer a high quality education at a great value with our costs being among some of the lowest in the state of Massachusetts. To acknowledge the outstanding academic achievements of our newly accepted students, Worcester State considers all accepted first-year and transfer, full-time, undergraduate day-school students for a merit scholarship. There is no separate scholarship application. Accepted students are considered for a merit scholarship automatically as part of the admissions process.
Students are encouraged to apply early and well before the priority admission deadlines (March 1 for first-year and June 1 for transfer students) to receive full consideration. Meeting minimum eligibility criteria does not guarantee a scholarship.
Merit scholarships are awarded by the Admissions Office. Contact your admissions counselor if you have questions.
