Pursue the activities you want to with the help of Worcester State.
Worcester State University is committed to supporting research, scholarship, and creativity as an integral part of its culture of academic excellence. The research and creative activities of the faculty enrich the student experience in the classroom and lead to innovations and scholarly contributions that enhance our educational mission.
In addition to providing administrative oversight of institutional review boards (HSRB and IACUC), the Provost’s Office provides direct financial support for faculty research through the Faculty Mini-Grant Program, the Provost’s Travel Fund, and the Teaching Innovation Grant Program. The annual Celebration of Scholarship and Creativity, held in April, showcases the work of our students and faculty through oral presentations, panels, and poster sessions.
Worcester State is a member of the Council of Undergraduate Research.
