The communications team tells the story of Worcester State University’s vision, achievements, and impact for our students, faculty and staff, alumni, donors, community partners, and the public. You can find our work published both digitally and online.
Our team generates press releases and announcements, pitches stories to local and national outlets, responds to media inquiries and works with journalists. We also work proactively with faculty experts to position the university as a thought leader in key fields.

Got a story idea for us? We are always interested in stories about research and scholarship, faculty and student achievements, and university-community projects. We also routinely review content to make suggestions and ensure it aligns with university standards. Our office is responsible for setting, updating and enforcing university editorial standards. Our university editorial style guide is a helpful tool for university content creators.
