The Worcester State University Facilities Department team of engineers, project managers, safety and environmental specialists, skilled craftspeople, groundskeepers, and custodial service staff is committed to providing an attractive, functional, and healthy campus for our students, employees, and visitors at all times.
Facilities is responsible for planning both capital and deferred maintenance projects to meet the University’s ever-changing programmatic needs and provides project management oversight for all of these campus improvement projects. In addition to new construction and renovation projects, Facilities is also responsible for daily operations throughout our campus buildings and grounds. To meet the varied needs of our busy campus, we provide the following services to our University constituents:
Trades (HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, and Carpentry), Janitorial Services, landscaping and snow removal, Environmental Health & Safety, Sustainability, Mail Center, Central Receiving & Stockroom, Fixed Asset Inventory & Document Management, and Public Records Access.
