CLEP Exams
The Academic Success Center offers CLEP exams by appointment to Worcester State students. Worcester State awards a maximum of 60 credits through the CLEP exam process towards an undergraduate degree.
Practice
Review CLEP's Information for Test Takers, which provides exam descriptions, information about how to prepare, and what to expect on exam day.
Use free online resources, such as ModernStates.org, which has designed online courses taught by faculty from universities across the country in each of the 33 CLEP exam subject areas. Students can log on and complete these courses at their own pace prior to registering and taking a CLEP exam.
Succeed
Visit the CLEP website and register for the test. The registration cost is $89.
Contact ASCTesting@worcester.edu in order to schedule an appointment.
The administration fee for the exam is $20 payable at the time of testing.
There is an additional $10 essay charge when you take the American Literature, Analyzing and Interpreting Literature, College Composition, and College Composition Modular CLEP exams.
