Worcester State University
Center for Social Innovation

The Center for Social Innovation at Worcester State University seeks to create a culture of social innovation to address deep-rooted social problems. Through education we create pathways for future leaders to unleash this emergent force and passion to solve entrenched social problems in innovative ways. Through community engagement we create platforms to systematically study and address social problems and to support cross-sector pollination of ideas.

We envision a world where citizens, organizations and institutions consciously and continuously work to create our desired future for the common good.  We work for a world where citizens increasingly work together to co-create valued and sustainable futures for their cities, states and nations.

Our programming will include courses and workshops for students and social entrepreneurs, guest speakers, and development of internships and service-learning opportunities for students.
