Courageous Conversations Lecture Series

Best-selling author Randall Robinson spoke at the fourth annual Courageous Conversations lecture on March 9, 2011. He urged his audience to renew their commitment to their democratic role of citizens and become more informed about the world around them. Robinson is the author of "An Unbroken Agony," "The Debt," "The Reckoning," and "Defending the Spirit," and founder and past president of TransAfrica, the African-American organization he established to promote enlightened, constructive U.S. policies toward Africa and the Caribbean. A performance by the First Haitian Baptist Church of Worcester choir, Voice of Triumph Entry (V.O.T.E.), preceded his address.
