(Worcester, Mass.) -- Worcester State University will host its 12th Annual Author's Institute, June 25 through June 29. The event, featuring award-winning authors and illustrators, is coordinated by the Education Department in partnership with the Division of Graduate and Continuing Education. Elaine Tateronis, who established the initiative, said it reflects the university's approach to education. "It is designed for teachers and librarians," said Tateronis. "They in turn, help to encourage students to read for its own sake." All sessions will be held in the Student Center Blue Lounge. Cost for the Institute is $685 and includes breakfast and lunch. Graduate and professional development credits are awarded.
