(Worcester, Mass.) -- Worcester State University Board of Trustees Chair John Brissette is pleased to announce the four finalists to be invited to campus for final interviews. The Presidential Search Committee recommended the following finalists (in alphabetical order) to the Board of Trustees:

Stanley F. Battle, Interim President,
Southern Connecticut University

Mark P. Bilotta, CEO,
Colleges of the Worcester Consortium

James F. Conneely, Associate Provost and Vice President for Student Affairs, Eastern Kentucky University, and
-
Barry M. Maloney, Vice President Student Affairs,
Westfield State University
The Board plans to complete on campus interviews by the first of April and to announce their decision shortly thereafter. Their selection will be forwarded to the Department of Higher Education and it is expected that the new president will assume the responsibilities as of July 1, 2011.
