Honoring exceptional community leadership in support of elders and their families. It was established in 1996 by the Age Center to honor the achievements of Irving J. Yarock, whose outstanding efforts as a volunteer for numerous organizations in Worcester, has made life better for hundreds of people of all ages.

Presented by Congressman James McGovern, Co-Chair of the Congressional Hunger Center. “Victory against Hunger Awards” were established by David Kantor, President of Victory Wholesale Grocers, to recognize outstanding organizations in the United States that work to end hunger at the local level.
