The Accelerated Accounting Certificate is designed for working adults who are contemplating a career change or who wish to upgrade their business skills. The program is appropriate for those who hold a degree in a non-accounting field or by those who do not hold a college degree, but who are working in the accounting field.
Students can complete the nine course, 27-credit certificate program in less than a year. Five courses are presented in an intensive blended format of 20 classroom hours on five consecutive Saturdays and 20 online hours during the intervening weeks. Two courses are presented on a traditional semester schedule and two are presented in the 6-week summer sessions, totaling 27 credits in less than a year.
