The Office of Diversity offers programs and services that will foster and promote a warm and safe environment for our diverse population at Worcester State University. We are committed to:
· Investigating all claims of discrimination
as defined by Federal and State Law.
· Monitoring the University's employee
recruitment and hiring procedures.
· Providing sensitivity training for all factions
of the campus community.
· Working with student organizations and academic
departments to sponsor campus events of different
cultures and ethnic groups.
· Community outreach, working with community centers,
agencies and others as a representative of the University.
· The office conducts cori checks.

INTERNAL LINKS
The Office of Multicultural Affairs has been in existence for approximately 30 years. It continues to proudly host programs such as the Alternative Individual Development (A.I.D.) program, Peer Mentors, Third World Alliance student organization, and Upward Bound, a pre-college pipeline program. Its goal is to provide access opportunities and retention in higher education.
Worcester State University and the Office of Disability Services are committed to providing services that will enable students who qualify under Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) to participate fully in the activities of the University.
