We have exciting news to share! The Center has funding for FOUR new faculty development and campus-wide learning initiatives and seeks applications now for available funds in these areas. Click on the "Current Initiatives" tab to learn more or to access the application materials.
"Microgrants" of up to $500 for creative group endeavors which need small seed money, e.g. for an event, food, training, software, conference, speaker, or almost anything else you can dream (funding from the Alden Endowment).
Undergraduate Research Funding: summer research stipends for you and up to 2 undergradute students to work together on a research project. This applies to any field & discipline; it is not limited to the sciences (funding from the Strategic Planning Trust Fund).
Collaborative Teaching: stipends to develop and implement some kind of collaborative teaching with other faculty at the university. This covers a wide range of possibilities from linked to team-taught courses (funding from the Davis Grant for Integrative Learning).
Faculty Learning Communities: stipends to organize a interdisciplinary faculty learning community around a topic, theme or problem (funding from the Davis Grant for Integrative Learning).
