About the Center
The Center for Teaching and Learning is both a place--located in Sullivan 117--and an academic center within the university. The place is a conference room and library perfect for a coffee break or active meeting/ discussion, and faculty are welcome to drop by anytime. The Center sponsors and hosts a wide variety of informal faculty gatherings, workshops, talk and book series, and other events throughout the academic year that bring people together and support teaching and learning at Worcester State.
The mission of the Center for Teaching and Learning is to enhance the teaching-learning process at Worcester State University. The CTL fosters teaching excellence rooted in scholarship and service within specific disciplines as well as an interdisciplinary, collaborative community. Services provided by the CTL facilitate lifelong learning in higher education teaching through innovative, creative, and theory-based practices.
