Survey of physics and chemistry; evolution of concepts and theories: measurement, gravitation, energy, conservation
laws, kinetic molecular theory, wave motion. Three lecture hours and two laboratory hours per week.

Light, electricity, magnetism, fundamentals of chemistry, atoms and molecules, the structure of atoms, quantum

Introduction to the scientific method, physical, biological and earth science related to evolution/genetics and energy.
