Worcester State University is a member of the Colleges of Worcester Consortium, which entitles full-time day students at member colleges to register at no additional cost for one course per semester at another campus. A Consortium shuttle bus provides transportation among campuses throughout the day.
Members of the Consortium, in addition to Worcester State University, are Anna Maria College, Assumption College, Becker College, Clark University, College of the Holy Cross, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University, Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences Nichols College, Quinsigamond Community College, University of Massachusetts Medical School, and Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
Other institutions participating with the Consortium to enrich local college curricula include the American Antiquarian Society, Dynamy, the EcoTarium, Higgins Armory Museum, the International Center of Worcester, Music Worcester, Inc., Old Sturbridge Village, WICN Public Radio, Worcester Art Museum, Worcester Center for Crafts, Worcester County Horticultural Society, Worcester County Mechanics Association, Worcester Historical Society, and Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce.
